  1. Thank you very much for this valuable detailed post about Balance Bike Gift Ideas. This is indeed a very valuable post. I was looking for something to give my sister for her little one’s birthday. This is a great idea. I will definitely buy one of these. And I think to give these Knee and Elbow Pads to him. It is also very good for his safety. Keep posting reviews like this.

    • Hi Pasindu. Yes, the knee and elbow pads are a relatively inexpensive option that allow some great protection for riders and the colors and patterns kids just love. This makes them very popular with kids while adding some extra safety measures to their riding.

I hope that you find a great gift and that they really enjoy it! Ride safe, have fun.

  2. The balance bike gift is a brilliant idea. I was wondering what will be the best gift for my little niece. The budget-friendly looks like an option she would like and within my budget. Your description of its sit height adjustment looks like what she can grow with for some time. Top of it is the two years warranty. I can get help if there is a fault

  3. This list is very helpful to find gift ideas, especially for those who want to ride a bike. It reminded me of my childhood days of riding bikes- they were fun.

These are great bikes to consider getting. My favorite one is the high-end balance option. That looks like a neat one.

I’ve thought about getting one for one of my cousin’s sons. He’s turning six years old later this year, and loves to ride bikes.

Which bike would you recommend for those between the age of 5-6? Are there any safety concerns to be aware of?

I thought I ask just to be sure, so I can make an informed decision.

Thanks for sharing- a really good list 🙂

    • Hi Eric, thanks for your comments and questions. Your cousin being nearly 6 years old sounds like they are already on a pedal bike. If that’s the case, there are so many options available these days for good pedal bikes for you to choose. A pedal bike that has a quality rear and front brakes, air tires, simple design with a large wheelbase (distance between the front and rear axles) and that comes highly recommended is your best option. I would recommend Strider Bikes, and possibly a 14″ or 16″ wheel for your cousin. Strider have a great reputation and their designs are well worth the investment.

I hope this is useful for you. Happy riding!

  4. I really enjoyed your article about bikes! Unfortunately, Christmas is gone already and my nephew didn’t ordered a bike to Santa…But I must admit that it’s a nice idea of present for your children, as it will encourage them to be active. I especially like the red bike, as well as the basket, even though my nephew is nearly 7. So I guess he’s a little grown for that…
